Many New Brunswick families live below the poverty line, and may sacrifice healthy eating for paying the bills. Not only is fresh produce expensive but it’s also hard to find. USDA designates areas like these as food deserts. That’s where we come in. We’re Oasis, the produce truck. By partnering with local farms we can provide various fresh and affordable produce to our diverse New Brunswick families. In order to serve people of all income levels, we will offer a variety of payment options including a pay-what-you-can system on our various stops throughout the community. As we continue to carry on the tradition of innovation, Oasis will eliminate food deserts once and for all.
