Distinguished Fellowships

Honors College students can pursue some of the most prestigious fellowships in the world, including the Goldwater, Mitchell, Fulbright, Luce, and Gates-Cambridge. The mission of the Office of Distinguished Fellowships is to assist Rutgers students interested in graduate study, research, teaching, or internships in applying for prestigious national fellowships and to support and guide them through the application and interview process.

Honors College students are encouraged to explore different Fellowships to search for opportunities available at their grade level and by type including fellowships that are internship-based, research-based, teaching focused, graduate study, professional experiences, undergraduate study, or study abroad. Students interested in applying for fellowships are encouraged to schedule an appointment via Handshake (requires Rutgers NetID and Password).

Additional Honors College support for the fellowship interview process is provided by our Dean of Professional Development and Alumni & Corporate Engagement.
