The Honors College is dedicated to preparing socially responsible students who are engaged in our community and beyond in multidimensional ways, including through service, connection with and in support of each other, and involvement in the life and traditions of the Honors College community overall so all can thrive.
Community Service
As part of the Honors College mission to develop service-minded citizens, a minimum of 30 hours of approved service work is required of each Honors College student to be completed within their first three years*.
HC Traditions
A number of Traditions programming occurs at the Honors College throughout our students’ experience, helping to build connection, a vibrant community, and strong sense of place.
HC Communities
Honors College Communities engage students in community building, programs, and initiatives with an overarching theme focused on student success and socially responsible leadership.
Student Interest Groups
In addition to formal leadership positions, Honors College students can lead, connect, and engage across several interest areas that provide more specific ways for students to get involved.
