CliMit is the world’s first climate resilience web consulting tool with a user-specific focus. It leverages the power of artificial intelligence (AI) in conjunction with geographic information system (GIS) data to interpret the vulnerability of an area of interest, and displays the most optimal methods of defense for that area according to the needs of the user. The primary and most direct consumer is local, regional, state, and federal governments and planners, as they are often responsible for planning and infrastructure. However, CliMit is a highly-versatile tool that can penetrate multiple sectors. It may be used by environmental or government organizations, in corporate settings and supply chains to analyze environmental risk and business continuity, in agriculture to maximize crop yield, and in developing countries to assist in the construction of more permanent, sustainable communities.
