Saai is a fifth year doctoral candidate in Dr Andrew Singson's lab. I study mechanisms involved in sperm activation and fertilization using worms as a model system. I have a master's degree in Molecular and Cell Biology from the University of Texas at Dallas. I received the Excellence Fellowship, Presidential Fellowship and Busch Pre-Doctoral Fellowship. I'm a strong advocate for diversity, equity and inclusion in STEM. I'm really glad to share my knowledge on science, research and other opportunities in science to help budding scientists.
