The Honors College is just one stop for Honors College admitted students only on your day attending University Open House. Please be sure to make time for attending academic and school-based sessions to learn more about your specific school. Download the Rutgers-NB App and the Open House 2024 schedule to find answers to more general questions. The Honors College will be open at 5 Seminary Place on the College Avenue Campus.
What to Expect at Open House
Open House at the Honors College is a drop-in event and requires no registration. Sessions happen hourly with rotating tours taking place on an ongoing basis.
- All admitted students and families are invited to attend Open House, but you must have received an invitation to the Honors College in order to participate in our events.
- Lunch is not provided at the Honors College. Feel free to enjoy food at many available locations on campus, including The Yard at College Avenue, just a few blocks away.
- Please note that the 10:00am Information Sessions has a maximum capacity of 40 guests per session. If you are unable to attend an in-person Information Session, you can view a virtual Information Session on our Admissions webpage.
- Tours depart from the Druskin (South) Lounge on a regular basis. Last tour departs at 2:40PM.

Come Prepared
- Admitted students should be prepared to show their Honors College invitation email as a form of registration.
- There is no limit to the number of guests who can attend with a student at this event.
- Come dressed in comfortable clothes and shoes, as you may be walking and standing for a long duration.
- Check out our Admitted Students webpage to celebrate your invitation and learn all about the Honors College before arriving.
- Note that we cannot answer specific questions regarding scholarships or financial aid packages. The One-Stop Student Services Center is open from 10:00am-3:00pm to answer aid-related questions on Busch Campus.

Parking & Event Check In
- Parking information can be found on the University Open House webpage.
- Please allow at least 15 minutes to park and get to the Honors College, located at 5 Seminary Place.
- The doors will open at 9:30am to check in at the Honors College Druskin (South) Lounge entrance on Seminary Place.
- You will not need to pre-register or show registration for the event. Our staff will verify that you have received an invitation to the Honors College at Rutgers University-New Brunswick during check in.
