Mary Ann joined Rutgers in 2022 and is currently a second-year graduate student in the College Student Affairs Ed.M. program where she serves as the Graduate Intern for Student Centers and Event Services. In her role, Mary Ann advises the student staff and aids in their development by implementing training and programs. In addition, Mary Ann also coordinates event logistics and reservation details for student organizations, university departments, and external clients establishing community and partnerships.
Mary Ann is passionate about helping first-year students in transition and is a product of a pre-college program herself. Realizing the impact that it left her, a year later she became a Peer Mentor at her alma mater, Montclair State University, for the Educational Opportunity Fund Program. She has served in many areas of higher education such as residence life, undergraduate admissions, student life, and more. Mary Ann earned a bachelor's degree in Communication and Media Arts and Gender, Sexuality, and Women Studies.
