Peak Performance Series

Honors College Networking Through Golf: Skills Clinic

Networking and business deals frequently occur on the golf course, but many people either do not have experience golfing, have never been invited to a ‘seat at the table’ for these types of networking opportunities, or feel uncomfortable joining in because of a lack of familiarity with the sport.

Making Conference Posters in PowerPoint Workshop

This workshop explores how to easily create conference posters by using PowerPoint tools. We will explore adjusting slides to poster dimensions, adding and managing text and bullets, images, charts, tables and other poster content. We will also generate QR codes which will link to informational websites from the posters. Finally, we will explore saving the poster as pdf files and various printing options.

Thank you to our colleagues at the Rutgers Office of Teaching Evaluation and Assessment Research (OTEAR) for hosting this workshop for Honors students.

Build Your e-Portfolio

Build Your e-Portfolio with Wix

An e-portfolio is a high-impact practice that is particularly helpful to begin early in your honors education. By creating an e-portfolio, you can collect your work over time, reflecting on your personal and academic growth and making connections between your education experiences and co-curriculars. This is a wonderful way for you to share your progress with professors, advisors, potential employers, and mentors.
