Join us to honor the past, celebrate the legacy, and uplift Black history together through a panel discussion, performances, and presentations. Dr. Priscilla Ferreira, an Afro-Brazilian geographer who works on solidarity economies, is a scholar-activist who will discuss the power and complexities of what it means to be Black in this moment. HC Faculty Fellow Dr. Nicole Burrowes will give a mini lecture on the history of "Black History Month." There will also be a Black history slideshow and student leader panelists will lead a discussion. Food will be provided.
