
Lin Zheng (he/him) is a Ph.D. Candidate in the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering, born in Guangzhou, China, whose research interests are primarily focused on how to utilize Green Stormwater Infrastructure and Low Impact Development to enhance climate adaptation and resilience. His academic career started with studying Water Supply and Wastewater Treatment at Wuhan University, China. He continued with a Master's in Civil and Environmental Engineering with a concentration on Stormwater Management and Water Resources, during which he was affiliated with Rutgers Center for Advanced Infrastructure and Transportation and worked as a Project Engineer for a $400,000 NJDOT research project on the runoff characterization of land treatments on roadway projects. He also gained valuable experience in the industry when he worked as an Environmental Intern in Summer 2023. He is a forward-thinking researcher, self-motivated problem-solver, and effective team player!
