Angela Dao is a graduate student in the Behavioral & Systems Neuroscience area of the Psychology department. Her research interests are centered around drug addiction and associated immunomodulation. She is currently working with Dr. Mark West researching the neurobiology of drug addiction and her current project is focused on how chronic fentanyl abuse impacts and suppresses normal immune system activity. She is originally from New York and completed her undergraduate education at Binghamton University where she majored in Integrative Neuroscience. She would be happy to discuss any areas of Psychology and Neuroscience, drug addiction/alcohol research, the graduate school experience and application process, or just how to navigate undergraduate school in general.
