Shawn Lawson Jr. is responsible for supervising the Resident Assistants in the Honors College, as well as the overall community development and Residence Life programming. Most recently, Shawn was the Community Engagement Manager for The Diversity Org - a non-profit that teaches low income and minority students how to obtain high income careers and opportunities. In addition, he was a College Readiness Coordinator for a leadership program between Wagner College and Port Richmond High School. In 2019 Shawn obtained his Masters Degree in Higher Education and Learning Organizations from Wagner College, concurrently holding a Bachelors in Psychology from Kean University. He brings an invigorating energy, infectious positivity, and creative mind to the team. In his free time, Shawn enjoys writing and performing poetry, exploring new places, and taking pictures along the way.
