Learn the Ropes- SEBS Research & Internships: Presented by the HC Alumni & Employer Engagement Board

Come chat with junior and senior HC peers about where they’ve interned, researched, and how they’ve navigated their SEBS experience. These conversations will give you a leg-up on building your portfolio. Believe it or not, it’s already time to start thinking about internships and what you can do at Rutgers to prepare yourself for opportunities.

 

By engaging with your HC community at this event you will earn 1 point towards the HC Merit Pin.

Mentoring Pod Program Kick-off Reception

Students who have been accepted into the program are invited to meet their fellow pod members and Graduate Mentor Fellows to kick-off the semester of connections and mentorship.

Networking Through Sport Golf Skills Clinic: Presented by the HC Alumni & Employer Engagement Board

Networking and business deals frequently occur on the golf course, but most people do not know how to golf. At this special event you will learn basic golf skills from our PGA-certified golf pro such as driving, pitching, and putting. This event will give you the skills to hit the course this semester and prepare for future networking opportunities.

NO EXPERIENCE IS NECESSARY! The event will take place at the Rutgers Golf Course on Busch Campus which is not near any bus stop, so you will need to arrange transportation. Please wear comfortable sporting attire.

Students interested in connecting with young professionals in the IT, R&D, Manufacturing, & Engineering Fields can sign-up for a 1:1 career conversation with J&J professionals. Visit this google form to read each professional’s bio and sign-up to speak with your chosen mentor.

2nd Annual Research Reception: Presented by the HC Alumni & Employer Engagement Board

Come and learn how to obtain a research position during your time at Rutgers at the Second Annual Honors College Research Reception.  You will have the opportunity to talk with professors and grad students who are seeking assistance with their research in a casual, relaxed setting.  Staff from research programs such as Aresty, IMSD, and CABM SURE will also be in attendance.  The attire is smart casual, and refreshments will be served.
