Meet your Resident Assistant and Honors Community Mentor, then head to your floor meetings. During this mandatory meeting, you will learn about the residential student experience, programs, and policies, as well as our Honors College student success learning objectives.

Join us for a special Friendsgiving Dinner celebrating first-generation students and members of our Affinity Groups! Enjoy good company, gratitude, and creativity as we share a meal. It’s a chance to relax, connect, and celebrate community before the holiday break. This event is supported by the Gen HC program and Affinity Groups for Asian, Black, International, Latinx, LGBTQ+, and Middle Eastern students. Pottery art is first-come, first-served.

Give back while connecting with your community! Join RHA for Community Service Night, where students will assemble care kits that will be donated to the Rutgers Basic Needs Center. We will also be promoting our resident advocacy survey to gather feedback on student satisfaction and identify ways to improve the residential experience across campus. This event is open to all students, and Honors College students will receive two HC Serves hours for participating.

Come join the LGBTQ+ Affinity Group's Pride Presentation Party where we create queer presentations based on queer prompts in order to compete against groups for some prizes!

Get the Scoop...with the Honors Peer Mentor Program

Are you ready for the first HC Coffeehouse of the semester? Get together with your peers to perform or enjoy performances at this year’s Halloween-themed Coffeehouse in Druskin Lounge… on Friday the 13th, of course! Light refreshments and food will be provided. Want to perform?

Join HC Faculty Fellow Prof. Kristen Syrett (Linguistics, RuCCS) to de-stress and get creative while making Halloween-themed crafts, painting pumpkins, and getting into the fall season. 

Drop in to meet an Honors College Ambassador and get your new student questions answered. 

Meet HC staff and student leaders outside of your residence hall and grab your HC 101 Booklet and Honors College t-shirt. Commuters, off-campus, and non-honors housing residents can visit the 5 Seminary Place North Lounge from 12:00pm-2:00pm.
