Join the Honors College Professional Development Council (PDC) for a community barbecue to celebrate your professional development journey thus far and kickoff the Summer!
Those who have earned the Honors College Merit Pin by developing as professionals through engaging with your HC community will be invited to receive their award at the celebration.
HC Thrift Swap
Join the Honors College and Residence Life for a 1:1 thrift swap on November 20th in Druskin Lounge! If you'd like to participate, donate your clothes in the drop-box located in the HC Administrative Suite open weekdays 8:30am-4:30pm, scan the QR code displayed on the drop-off box, and complete the form to let us know what you donated.
HC Valentine’s Coffeehouse
Love is in the air at this year’s annual Honors College Valentine’s Coffeehouse–an open mic experience for all HC students! Come by and watch your peers perform or perform your own number to share with your community! From dancing to singing to poetry, we accept all kinds of talents within the HC community to perform. Sign-ups are open now until Thursday, February 6.
HC Winter Coffeehouse
Get together with your peers to perform or enjoy performances at this year’s winter-themed Coffeehouse in Druskin Lounge! Light refreshments and food will be provided, as well as holiday activities such as the wishing tree. Want to perform?
HC Film Appreciation Series: "MILK" with the LGBTQ+ Collaborative
Join Changemaking Mentor James and Faculty Fellow Trip McCrossin, in collaboration with the LGBTQ+ Collaborative, for a screening of MILK, based on the true story of Harvey Milk, the first openly gay man ever elected to public office. In San Francisco in the late 1970s, Milk becomes an activist for gay rights and inspires others to join him in his fight for equal rights that should be available to all Americans. Catering from Giddy's Pizza & Cafe will be provided.
Heightened Scrutiny Film Screening
Join the Honors College LGBTQ+ Learning Collaborative, Tyler Clementi Center, and Center for Social Justice Education and LGBT Communities for a screening of Heightened Scrutiny, part of the Honors College Film Series. Food will be provided. Students will receive two HC Serves hours for participating.

Holiday Post Card Making with Watercolors at Snack Night with HC Faculty Fellow Dr. Burrowes
Join us and de-stress with a session led by teaching artist Micah Steinerman of Scarlet Arts RX. No experience necessary. All arts materials will be provided. Cookies and hot chocolate will be served.
Honors College Homecoming & Family Weekend
All Honors College students and their families are invited to participate in a meet and greet with our Honors College network of support. Enjoy light refreshments while talking with students, staff, and faculty. Space will be on a first come, first served basis.
