Specific move-times and details can be found below for those moving in on Monday, August 25.
Honors Community Welcome and Induction Ceremony
All new Honors College students will attend the Welcome and Induction Ceremony! You’ll hear words of wisdom from the HC deans and students, write a note to yourself in four years, and officially embark on this new adventure. We’re so excited to share this journey with you!
Please do not bring bags into the event location at Jersey Mike's Arena.
Inclusive Sex Education Workshop
All students are invited to an inclusive sex education event to learn about consent, safe sex, and sex-positivity, in an interactive environment. Attendees will receive two HC Serves hours, giveaways, and the opportunity to be entered into raffles. This is a queer inclusive program hosted by the Honors College LGBTQ+ Learning Collaborative in partnership with Rutgers HOPE, VPVA, and the HC LGBTQ+ Affinity Group. Light refreshments will be served.
This event was moved from October 13 to December 5.
Intercultural Identity Paint & Sip
Join us for an evening of creativity and connection at our Intercultural Identity Paint and Sip! Enjoy mocktails, free prizes, and guided painting as we explore personal identity and celebrate cultural diversity—all while earning 2 Changemaking Points! Connect with friends, de-stress, and discover how art can support your wellness journey.
Intercultural Meetup
Learn about involvement with our student-led affinity groups! Affinity Groups are student led and are intended to provide students with a place to discuss issues directly impacting their experiences at the Honors College and in the greater Rutgers community. Representatives from the Asian Affinity Group, Black Affinity Group, Latinx Affinity Group, LGBTQ+ Affinity Group, Middle Eastern Affinity Group, and International Student Affinity Group will be present.
