Maddy Terry is a third year PhD student in Dr. Kim McKim's lab at the Waksman Institute of Microbiology. The McKim lab studies spindle assembly and chromosome segregation in Drosophila oocytes. Maddy received her bachelor's degree in Biology with a minor in Data Analytics from Immaculata University in 2022. At Immaculata, Maddy was a driven undergraduate who was a member of the women's soccer and lacrosse teams, conducted a research project in a yeast lab under Dr. Daniel Ginsburg, as well as peer tutored and served as a lab assistant for the biology department. Maddy is excited and passionate about mentoring undergraduate students interested in pursuing a career in research.
