First-Year Student Move-In

Welcome to Rutgers University and the Honors College! Pick up your key from your Resident Assistants and head to your assigned room to unpack, unwind, and meet your Honors Community Mentor, roommate, and floormates. More details can be found on the Residence Life website

Honors College Drop In Tour

Interested students are welcome to visit the Honors College for a drop-in tour and information session.  The Honors College will be open at 5 Seminary Place on the College Avenue Campus.

Honors College Welcome and Induction Ceremony

All new Honors College students will attend the Welcome and Induction Ceremony! You’ll hear words of wisdom from the HC deans and students, write a note to yourself in four years, and officially embark on this new adventure.

Ricardo Nuila | Common Read 2026

The event will begin at 10AM in the President's Tent with all students engaging in the presentation and discussion, and then following up with small discussion sections where they will have a chance to further explore the questions and topics with their peers.
