Join us for a Crafternoon of crocheting for a good cause! Come spend the afternoon learning the basics and making in community with others. Settle in, meet fellow students, and crochet one or two hats to donate to Elijah’s Promise in New Brunswick, which uses the power of food to fight hunger and change lives. Hat-making kits with all the materials you need are provided, and no experience is needed. Students are also welcome to bring their own projects to work on if they’d prefer.
Each completed hat counts for two hours of student engagement credit for Douglass students. Honors College students also earn 2 hours of volunteer time per hat, up to 2 hats.
