CJ is a writer and speaker from Brooklyn, NY. He is the founder of the nonprofit, Labor Forward, whose goal is to fill the narrative gap caused by the erasure of Black history. He has given talks across the country for colleges and organizations on the topics of Racial justice, equity, and history. CJ has a bachelors in Finance from Johnson & Wales University and a Masters in Theology from Western Seminary and plans to pursue a PhD in Sociology. CJ and his Wife Meredith love spending time with their three children, Eilish, Elodie, and Amias.
