Midtown Design Walk in New York City 
Take a spring study break and join HC Faculty Fellow Dr. David Tulloch for a walk through Midtown Manhattan. The group will visit examples of art and design, particularly architecture and landscape architecture, from different eras including the Gilded Age and Beaux Arts, Art Deco, Modernism and one of the newest architectural landmarks in the world. Discover features and messages hidden in plain view with and places worth returning to on your next trip into NYC. 

New Year, New You: A Self-Care Workshop for the Honors Student

Bring in the new year with a fresh perspective with the Changemaking Mentors and Faculty Fellow Doug Cantor at New Year, New You: A Self-Care Workshop for the Honors Student! As Honors students, self care is essential to your wellbeing as you balance all of the roles you play in your lives. Learn self-care methods from experienced Honors College students, participate in activities based around centering yourself when faced with stress, and get the chance to win goodies like bath and body sets and movie night baskets! Free food and refreshments will be provided.

Through this program, you can fulfill your Public Scholarship requirement for +Honors Contract Courses and Capstones. 

One of the most important skills you can develop is the ability to succinctly present an idea in an accessible and captivating way.
