Enter…”One Quick Thing I Learned.”
In “One Quick Thing I Learned,” your goal is to take that *one thing* that stuck out to you and make it come alive in a way that makes others want to learn more…in less than 5 minutes! For this event, we’re putting you in the hands of Dr. Kristen Syrett, one of our HC Faculty Fellows, Professor and Chair of Linguistics, and a trained executive coach. Dr. Syrett has helped organize the popular 5-Minute Linguist Event and the 3-Minute Thesis event for the Linguistic Society of America (LSA). She currently serves as the LSA’s Public Relations Committee chair, and has been featured in outlets such as NPR, CNN, Forbes,and The New Yorker.
