If you're applying to graduate school, chances are you are either starting to write or are thinking about how to craft your personal statement for applications. Join two Honors College faculty fellows, Dr. Kitzinger and Dr. Syrett, as well as HC Graduate Mentors who are full-time Rutgers doctoral students, for a workshop on how to write a personal statement that will strengthen your application, as well as address concerns you may have about the graduate school application process.
Join HC Faculty Fellow Prof. Kristen Syrett (Linguistics, RuCCS) to de-stress and get creative while making Halloween-themed crafts, painting pumpkins, and getting into the fall season.
Do you like movies? After watching an amazing film, do you ever find yourself searching for reviews to better understand your newfound love for said film? If yes, come down to S126 on Friday nights (every two weeks starting Friday, October 18) to watch a new movie with Changemaking Mentor James and Faculty Fellow Trip McCrossin!
Join Changemaking Mentor James and Faculty Fellow Trip McCrossin, in collaboration with the LGBTQ+ Collaborative, for a screening of MILK, based on the true story of Harvey Milk, the first openly gay man ever elected to public office. In San Francisco in the late 1970s, Milk becomes an activist for gay rights and inspires others to join him in his fight for equal rights that should be available to all Americans. Catering from Giddy's Pizza & Cafe will be provided.
Join us and de-stress with a session led by teaching artist Micah Steinerman of Scarlet Arts RX. No experience necessary. All arts materials will be provided. Cookies and hot chocolate will be served.

Bring in the new year with a fresh perspective with the Changemaking Mentors and Faculty Fellow Doug Cantor at New Year, New You: A Self-Care Workshop for the Honors Student! As Honors students, self care is essential to your wellbeing as you balance all of the roles you play in your lives. Learn self-care methods from experienced Honors College students, participate in activities based around centering yourself when faced with stress, and get the chance to win goodies like bath and body sets and movie night baskets! Free food and refreshments will be provided.
