Learn from a design thinking expert from the Keller Center @ Princeton University, and Dean Rydel, how to utilize design thinking to prototype and plan for a career and life with purpose. The Keller Center at Princeton University supports student startup ventures and teaches how to use design thinking for successful innovation.

HC Career Chats with Barclays

Rutgers Honors College students are invited to participate in 1-on-1 sessions with Barclays employees to discuss professional goals, career advice, and life after college. Students may be matched with employees based on career interests related to banking, markets, research, technology, HR, compliance, legal, and marketing.

HC Career Chats with Panasonic

Rutgers Honors College students are invited to participate in a career development discussion with Panasonic employees to discuss company culture, professional goals, and career advice. All participants will join a kick-off at 12:30 p.m. then break into 1-on-1 sessions with Panasonic employees, regrouping at 1:45 p.m. for closing remarks.

Senior Ritwik Baksi has spent the last several years making a difference in the lives of others at the HC, Rutgers, and in New Brunswick: "Each time a student engages with the community, we add building blocks to that connection... Service has changed me for the better in countless ways—some of which I haven't fully understood yet." Through service and sustained mentorship, Ritwik has shared his gifts with the HC and beyond.

For Aryeh Iosif, giving is an opportunity to be a catalyst for positive change. His journey began in high school with a volunteer opportunity to help children in long-term care. This experience prompted him to continue serving through the Honors College, “Where else could you just walk two minutes and have opportunities to serve your community? ...These small service events at the Honors College were a huge catalyst for me in getting involved further in service.”

Hannah Calvelli ('20, SAS/HC) has been working in a research lab since her freshman year, studying nanotherapeutics for immune modulation in Parkinson's Disease. In addition to contributing to several publications, she conducted research at the National Institute for Neurological Disorders and Strokes where she received an Exceptional Summer Student Award. She will be attending medical school next year.
