Don’t be frightened by building your schedule! The HC Scholar Peer Mentors are hosting an information session on all things scheduling. Learn tips on choosing classes for next semester, meet peer mentors with similar career interests, and start creating your Spring schedule!
This wellness space focuses on restorative justice as a framework for well-being. Restorative justice is a process that facilitates community engagement and communication across different lived experiences. The process has been used for centuries in Indigenous communities and offers a less punitive approach to resolving conflicts. Massage therapists will be available for 15-minute chair massages on a first-come, first-serve basis.
This workshop unpacks the CLARA (calm, listen, affirm, respond, add) method of communication as a tool for engaging in difficult conversations respectfully. Students will receive two Changemaking Points for attending.
Join HC Faculty Fellow Prof. Kristen Syrett (Linguistics, RuCCS) to de-stress and get creative while making Halloween-themed crafts, painting pumpkins, and getting into the fall season.
Come and hear from Rutgers’ first two Delta Scholars about their experience as a part of one of the nation’s most unique fellowship programs, in which participants work in the Mississippi Delta Region, as well as at Harvard University Law and T.H. Chan School of Public Health, to provide medical, legal, political, and economic access to residents of one of the nation’s most impoverished regions.
Each year Rutgers Honors College is guaranteed one participant (a rising junior) in this pathbreaking and high-impact program.
