Welcome Days

Incoming Honors College students are invited to participate in Welcome Days, a multi-day, early arrival experience full of academic and social programs. The Honors College Induction Ceremony and Summer Reading program are a part of Welcome Days, as well as programs coordinated by the Mentors in Residence and Student Advisory Board.

HC Serves: Global Giving Shift 2

Get started on earning HC Serves hours by volunteering at this meaningful meal packaging event in the Druskin Lounge. All meals will be shipped internationally through Rise Against Hunger. Check in at the East Lounge. Spaces are available on a first come, first serve basis.

Honors College Block Party & Mini-Involvement Fair

Join the Honors College classes of 2019 and 2020 in celebrating the beginning of a new school year at a Block Party hosted by the Community Liaisons. Enjoy games, inflatables, and food while getting to know members of the Honors College community. While there, discover the exciting opportunities the Honors College has to offer by visiting the tables of various organizations and initiatives.

Join the Honors College Student Advisory Board for an epic night of your favorite board games and video games, from Settlers of Cataan to Mario Kart! Winners of our Mario Kart and Smash tournaments will receive the grand prizes! Feel free to bring your own controllers and systems. Refreshments will be provided.
