In honor of Barbie’s 65th celebration, and in collaboration with Student Centers and Activities for our annual Geek Week, we are hosting Barbie Night at the Honors College! In this interdisciplinary experience, we’ll have four guest faculty speakers presenting on topics surrounding Barbie—from linguistic breakdowns of monologues from the Barbie movie to Barbie’s history through the lens of a Black feminist.
All Honors College students and their families are invited to participate in a meet and greet with our Honors College network of support. Enjoy light refreshments while talking with students, staff, and faculty. Space will be on a first come, first served basis.
Are you ready for the first HC Coffeehouse of the year? Get together with your HC peers to perform or enjoy performances at this year's Fall-themed Coffeehouse on October 10th! Light refreshments and desserts will be provided. There will also be a raffle for a Jellycat plushie!
