Crisp Air, Bright Lights Coffeehouse

Coffeehouse is our “no judgment” performance zone. If you are willing to share your talent (music, spoken word, comedy, recitations, brief RED-Talks, showcase your visual art, favorite movie lines, or just about anything), we want to see you on our stage! Come out and support and enjoy performances by your HC peers! Snacks and drinks will be provided.

Delta Scholars - Are you Rutgers Honors College’s next Delta Scholar?

Come and hear from Rutgers’ first two Delta Scholars about their experience as a part of one of the nation’s most unique fellowship programs, in which participants work in the Mississippi Delta Region, as well as at Harvard University Law and T.H. Chan School of Public Health, to provide medical, legal, political, and economic access to residents of one of the nation’s most impoverished regions.    

Each year Rutgers Honors College is guaranteed one participant (a rising junior) in this pathbreaking and high-impact program.

Join Dr. Mont and fellow Honors College students as the New Jersey Devils take on the New York Rangers. Come cheer on your team, relax with friends, and enjoy an evening of hockey and community. Snacks and beverages provided.

Digital Safety for the Campus Community: Protecting Your Presence

The Tyler Clementi Center is proud to host Digital Safety for the Campus Community: Protect Your Presence on April 15. Presented in partnership with the Honors College LGBTQ+ Learning Collaborative, this event features E.C. Pizarro III, the former executive director of an international transgender tech organization. This session is part of the GAYpril calendar of events in collaboration with the Center for Social Justice Education and LGBT Communities (SJE).

Join Dean Bowers and participate in a deep and engaging discussion (open only to twelve students) on the history, development, and present-day dimensions of the International Criminal Court (ICC) and learn why the U.S. is attacking and attempting to destroy the only international institution that can punish genocidal perpetrators.

Join Dean Bowers and participate in a deep and engaging discussion (open only to twelve students) regarding the war in Iran, the historical ties between the US and Iran, and both short-term and long-term consequences of the recent (and ongoing?) hostilities.
