Being able to negotiate your compensation package is crucial to closing the gender wage gap. Studies show that women do not attempt to negotiate in comparison to men due to fear of being perceived negatively. This workshop is meant to instill confidence, raise awareness of the gender wage gap, and build skills in communication and negotiation. Other topics of discussion include self-advocacy and determining your worth for freelance gigs.
