Welcome to Rutgers University and the Honors College! Pick up your key from your Resident Assistants and head to your assigned room to unpack, unwind, and meet your Honors Community Mentor, roommate, and floormates. More details can be found on the Residence Life website

Join the Honors College Deans and campus partners–including Residence Life, Rutgers Police, Counseling & Psychological Services, and the Dean of Students–for an event to connect with parents and family members.

First-year commuter, off-campus, and extended community students (those living on campus in non-honors housing) can visit the 5 Seminary Place North Lounge from 3:30-5:30pm to meet their Community Mentors and receive their welcome gift.

Join the Honors College Deans and campus partners including Residence Life, Rutgers Police, Counseling & Psychological Services, and the Dean of Students for a virtual event to connect with parents and family members.

Get to know your floormates over dinner! Head to the dining hall on your campus with your Community Mentor at your assigned dinner times.

First-year commuters and students living in other communities on campus are welcome to join their Honors Community Mentors for dinner and a Community Kickoff. During this mandatory meeting, you will learn about the commuter and extended community experience, programs and policies, as well as our Honors College student success learning objectives

Meet your Resident Assistant and Honors Community Mentor, then head to your floor meetings. During this mandatory meeting, you will learn about the residential student experience, programs, and policies, as well as our Honors College student success learning objectives.

Grab brunch with your Community Mentor and floormates at the dining hall on your campus!

Meet your Honors Community Mentors before traveling to Jersey Mike’s Arena for the HC Welcome & Induction Ceremony.

Join your Community Mentor to travel by bus to Jersey Mike’s Arena for the HC Welcome and Induction Ceremony.

All new Honors College students will attend the Welcome and Induction Ceremony! You’ll hear words of wisdom from the HC deans and students, write a note to yourself in four years, and officially embark on this new adventure. 

Join the Honors Programming Committee for a late night movie.
