Dr. Kristen Syrett, one of our HC Faculty Fellows, and Professor and Chair of Linguistics, will provide you with guidance to tailor your statement and provide you with tips to help make your statement stand out and catch the attention of the admissions committee. You will then meet with current Rutgers doctoral students (students who were successful in their grad school applications!) in small groups for specialized guidance.
