Rutgers Day for Admitted Students | April 26

The Honors College is just one stop for Honors College admitted students only on your day attending Rutgers Day. Please be sure to make time for attending academic and school-based sessions to learn more about your specific school. The Honors College will be available for questions at 5 Seminary Place on the College Avenue Campus.

What to Expect at Rutgers Day

Rutgers Day at the Honors College is a drop-in event and requires no registration. Sessions happen hourly with rotating tours taking place on an ongoing basis.

• All admitted students and families are invited to attend Rutgers Day, but you must have received an invitation to the Honors College in order to participate in our events.
• Lunch is not provided. Feel free to enjoy food at many available locations on campus, including The Yard at College Avenue, just a few blocks away.

Event Schedule

• 12:15pm | Check In 
• 12:30pm | Rotating Tours of 5 Seminary Place (Tours depart from the Druskin Lounge on a regular basis. The last tour departs at 2:30pm).
• 1:15pm | Dean's Information Session
• 2:15pm | Dean's Information Session

Come Prepared

• Admitted students should be prepared to show their Honors College invitation email as part of check in.
• There is no limit to the number of guests who can attend with a student at this event.
• Come dressed in comfortable clothes and shoes, as you may be walking and standing for a long duration. You’ll want to be comfortable!

• Note that we cannot answer specific questions regarding scholarships or financial aid packages.

Parking & Event Check In

• Parking information can be found on the Rutgers Day webpage.
• Special event parking will be available in the following locations:
• Lot 26
• Lot 30
• College Avenue Parking Deck 
• View each location above to get directions. You can also zoom in on the parking map provided to you on this page or visit the main Rutgers Map to identify where these parking lots are located in advance of your arrival.
• Please allow at least 15 minutes to park and get to the Honors College building located at 5 Seminary Place.
• The doors will open at 12:30pm to check in at the Druskin (South) Lounge entrance at 5 Seminary Place.
• You will not need to pre-register or show registration for the event. Our staff will verify that you have received an invitation to the Honors College at Rutgers University-New Brunswick during check in.
