HC Speaks Presents: AI Revolution–RU In or Out?

HC Speaks is back! Join fellow HC students and Dr. Badri Nath, a Professor in the Department of Computer Science, for a roundtable discussion on the impact of artificial intelligence (AI) on academia, social media, and overall integrity of American society. Participants will earn 2 Changemaking Points.

The fall semester Honors College Academic Showcase highlights the work of seniors completing Capstones, as well as student projects developed in Cross-Cultural Competency and +Honors Contract Courses. Students will present their work in a multiplicity of formats: RED Talks, lightning pitches, research posters, media-documented performances, model displays, and academic panels.

Friends, family, advisors, instructors, and alumni are welcome to join!

Climate Crisis Research at Rutgers Faculty Roundtable - Climate Crisis Series

Join us to hear four Rutgers New Brunswick faculty members across disciplines speak about their cutting-edge research and activism related to the climate crisis, and find out how you can shape your studies at Rutgers around this crucial interdisciplinary topic. Panelists include David Hughes (Anthropology), Elaine LaFay (History), Åsa Remmeralm (Geography), and Todd Vachon (Labor Studies & Employment Relations). Hosted by the Honors College Faculty Fellows.

HC Serves: HC Sbooks - Book Drive & Service Event

HC Serves and the HC Book Club will be holding for the New Brunswick-based nonprofit Hidden Gems Literary Emporium to assist them in helping a NY middle school that has not been able to have its own library in over 50 years. All book donations are appreciated but those at a middle school reading level are preferred.

Additionally, join us in packing Halloween-themed goodie bags for New Brunswick elementary schoolers! Attendees will earn 1 HC Serves hour!
