The Honors College Admitted Scholars Day is a one-stop experience for Honors College admitted students only to learn about the Honors College at Rutgers-New Brunswick as well as our academic schools.

What to Expect at Explore HC

The Admitted Scholars Day is a full day of connecting for admitted Honors College students and families at the College Avenue Student Center, featuring a tour of the honors spaces on College Avenue at 5 Seminary Place.

• You will receive a personalized agenda to attend a breakout session that aligns with the school to which you received an invitation.
• Lunch is provided at the event. Please indicate any dietary restrictions in your registration.
• You will attend a Department Resource Fair and Engagement Fair including campus partners from across the university to learn more about how Rutgers supports student success, engagement, and belonging. Partners include Honors College student groups, Rutgers Global - Study Abroad, Cultural Centers, Student Volunteer Engagement, Aresty Research Center, Rutgers Parents, Career Exploration and Success, and more.
• Be sure to budget your time during lunch to allow ample opportunity to explore the fair.

• 10:10am - 10:40am | Academic School Breakout Sessions, Parent Panel, and Student Panel Rotations
• 10:50am - 11:20am | Academic School Breakout Sessions, Parent Panel, and Student Panel Rotations
• 11:30am - 12:00pm | Academic Opportunities Faculty Panel
• 12:15pm - 1:15pm | Rotating Lunch, Engagement Fair, and Tour of Honors Spaces at 5 Seminary Place
• 1:15pm-2:15pm  | Rotating Lunch, Engagement Fair, and Tour of Honors Spaces at 5 Seminary Place

Come Prepared

• All admitted students must register for the Admitted Scholars Day of their choice and are only permitted to attend one in-person event per season.
• Bring no more than two guests with you to the event.
• Register your vehicle for the event parking. 
• Come dressed in comfortable clothes and shoes, as you may be walking and standing for a long duration. You’ll want to be comfortable!
• Indicate on the Registration Form if you or your guests require any accommodations, including special-needs parking, seating, alternate viewing options, and traveling on campus.

Registration is required for this event due to limited space. Each admitted student is welcome to bring TWO guests in addition to themselves. While we can accommodate two guests per student, please note that seating is first-come, first-served. This event will take place rain or shine.
