Delta Scholars
The Delta Scholars program is a two-part academic and community engagement program for talented and socially conscious college students interested in moving Mississippi and the Delta region towards a brighter, more just tomorrow.
Delta Scholars are selected for their academic achievements and commitment to public service, to participate in a twelve-day Summer Institute in Mississippi followed by a five-day trip to Boston and Harvard University in the fall.
Generation HC Scholars
The Generation HC Program (Gen HC) engages, celebrates, and supports first-generation Honors College students throughout their first year at college. Being a first-generation (first-gen) student, the first in their families to go to college, is an exceptional accomplishment and a testament to their academic strength, grit, and determination.
Summer School in Roman Pottery | RHC Fellows
The Summer School in Roman Pottery is a unique opportunity for hands-on instruction in analyzing ceramics from the ancient Roman world with experts in Italy.
Successor to a program at the American Academy in Rome, the program is now independent and is offered through a collaboration with the Lugnano in Teverina Town Council and Civic Museum.
Past participants have received the prestigious Rome Award, as well as have gained admission into graduate programs in Classics, Anthropology, Museum Studies, History, and Political Philosophy at some of the nation's leading programs.
Presidential Scholars
Rutgers' leading academic Honors College Scholars, the Presidential Scholars program provides participants an all-encompassing set of exclusive workshops, programs, mentorship, and opportunities for advanced placement in research, internships, and networking, all guided by the Dean of the College.
Students are also provided two years of on-campus housing in one of the various Honors residence halls (at the Honors College for the first-year, then open to choice for year two); opportunities as ambassadors for the College in meetings with donors, administration, and distinguished guests; and unique social events.
You will join a community of Presidential Scholars from prior years who will also help guide you and provide valuable insights from their earlier experiences.
