Meera Ananth collaborates with the Honors College and select other units at Rutgers to lead development efforts. She has over 15 years of experience as a frontline fundraiser. Meera served most recently as the Director of Development at the Rutgers School of Engineering, a position which she has held for four years. In that role, she worked on cross unit collaborative fundraising initiatives and advanced major and principal gift level relationships for the school in a meaningful way. Before that, she held the position of Director of Development and External Relations at Columbia University, where she played a pivotal role in advancing the cross-disciplinary Women Creating Change initiative. Before taking her role at Columbia she served in various capacities to lead fundraising for the Rutgers Edward J. Bloustein School of Planning and Public Policy and the Rutgers School of Management and Labor Relations. Meera holds a B.A. in Political Science from Rutgers University and a Master's in Public Policy from the Rutgers Edward J. Bloustein School of Planning and Public Policy with a concentration in Nonprofit Management.
