The Honors College Showcase is a one-stop experience for Honors College admitted students only to learn about the Honors College at Rutgers-New Brunswick as well as our academic schools. Plan well in advance and register now, this program fills quickly.
What to Expect at the Showcase
The Admitted Student Showcase is a full day of connecting for admitted Honors College students and families at the College Avenue Student Center, featuring a tour of the Honors College residence hall.
- You will receive a personalized agenda to attend a breakout session that aligns with the school to which you received an invitation.
- Lunch is provided at the Showcase. Please indicate any dietary restrictions in your registration.
- You will attend an Opportunities Fair including campus partners from across the university to learn more about how Rutgers supports student success, engagement, and belonging. Partners include Honors College student groups, Rutgers Global - Study Abroad, Cultural Centers, Student Volunteer Engagement, Aresty Research Center, Rutgers Parents, Career Exploration and Success, and more.
- Be sure to budget your time during lunch to allow ample opportunity to explore the fair.

Come Prepared
- All admitted students must register for the Showcase of their choice and are only permitted to attend one in-person Showcase event per season.
- Bring no more than two guests with you to the event.
- Register your vehicle for the event parking.
- Come dressed in comfortable clothes and shoes, as you may be walking and standing for a long duration.
- Indicate on the Registration Form if you or your guests require any accommodations.
- Check out our Admitted Students webpage to celebrate your invitation and learn all about the Honors College before arriving.
- If you are interested, save time to take a tour of Douglass Residential College at 3:00PM to learn about additional opportunities available to our students.
Registration
Registration is required for this event due to limited space.
Each admitted student is welcome to bring TWO guests in addition to themselves. While we can accommodate two guests per student, please note that seating is first-come, first-served.
Parking & Event Check In
Special event parking will be available in the following locations:
- Lot 26
- Lot 30
- College Avenue Parking Deck
- Before arriving at the event and parking, guests must register a vehicle to be able to park at the available locations, otherwise guests may receive a citation.
- View each location above to get directions. You can also zoom in on the parking map provided to you on this page or visit the main Rutgers Map to identify where these parking lots are located in advance of your arrival.
- Please allow at least 15 minutes to park and get to the College Avenue Student Center.
- The doors will open at 8:30AM to check in at the Multipurpose Room and Main Lounge.
