Trishna (she/her) is a third-year Ph.D. student in the Cellular & Molecular Pharmacology program at Rutgers University, New Brunswick. She earned her Bachelor's degree in Biotechnology from Gauhati University, India, in 2020. During her gap year, she interned at Gauhati University, gaining additional research experience by working on projects related to COVID-19, Hepatitis B, and Esophageal cancer. Currently, Trishna is a graduate student at the Rutgers Cancer Institute, working in Dr. Eileen White's lab, where she studies the role of dietary restrictions in cancer cachexia using NSCLC GEMM. Trishna is eager to connect with and share her experiences with other students in the Rutgers community.
