Abhi Shetty
Lead Ambassador for Scheduling & Signature Events

Abhi (HC '22) is a junior at Rutgers Business School majoring in Finance and Economics, originally from North Brunswick, NJ. He is a member of the Road to Wall Street Program and the Student Managed Fund. He enjoys playing volleyball and tennis and is a novice rock climber.

Alex Nguyen

Alex Nguyen (HC '21) is a senior majoring in Supply Chain Management and Business Analytics and Information Technology (BAIT), with minors in Mathematics and Italian. He is from Old Bridge, New Jersey, around 25 minutes from Rutgers. On campus, Alex is a Resident Assistant for first-year students, a Build Manager for Habitat for Humanity, and a sustainability advocate as part of the social entrepreneurship club Enactus. Alex chose the HC for its focus on interdisciplinary education.

Alysta Paneque

Alysta Paneque (HC '23) is a sophomore majoring in Biological Sciences and minoring in Spanish from Haworth, NJ. At Rutgers, she is a member of the Phi Mu sorority and does research in the Jacinto Lab. Alysta chose the HC for the unique opportunities it provides and its goal to expand the horizons of each student. Alysta’s most memorable moment in the HC was baking with her friends at the Honors College's coffee bar in the middle of finals her freshman year.

Ambassadors

Honors College Ambassadors are current students who share their experiences and stories with prospective students and their families. Ambassadors volunteer in providing tours of the honors spaces at 5 Seminary Place, connecting with prospective students at events such as showcases, open house, and other special on and off campus events, and sometimes representing the Honors College at their former high schools.

Amy Narakornpichit (HC '21) is a senior majoring in Biomedical Engineering from Warren, New Jersey. At Rutgers she is involved with research in the biomedical engineering department and is on the E-Board for Alpha Eta Mu Beta (Biomedical Engineering Honor Society). She is also on the E-Board for her sorority, Alpha Gamma Delta. Off campus, she works as an EMT for Watchung Rescue Squad. Amy chose the HC for its interdisciplinary living-learning community!

Anthony Sochan (HC '22), from Mahopac, NY, is a junior double majoring in Exercise Science and Nutritional Science. At Rutgers, he is the Vice President of Club Baseball, Secretary of the Kinesiology & Health Club, and an elementary school tutor with Youth Empowerment Club. Anthony chose the HC because of the multiple opportunities for community involvement and engagement.

Audrey Terrany (HC '23) is a sophomore in the School of Arts and Sciences majoring in Genetics. She is from Oceanport, New Jersey, and is on the Pre-Medicine track. At Rutgers, Audrey is involved in Health Occupations Students of America, which is a club designed for service, learning more about the health professions, and participation in competitive medical-based events at internationally-recognized competitions. She is also involved in Greek life and is responsible for connecting with alumnae of her sorority and planning networking events. Audrey chose the Honors College for the community feeling consisting of like-minded peers who always have each other's backs. Her favorite memory at the Honors College was baking cookies late at night with her roommate and friends at the coffee bar in the Fireside Lounge!

Dean Schansinger (HC '21) is an Honors College junior majoring in Psychology and minoring in Education as a Social Science. He is currently a Research Assistant in the Cognitive Development Lab, a Peer Instructor for the First-Year Interest Group Seminars teaching Exploring Education, a Teaching Assistant for the Psychology Department, and previously served as the Executive President for the Residence Hall Association. Dean’s most memorable moment during his Honors College tenure was planning the 3rd annual Winter Ball, an HC party hosted for all first-year students.

Ethan Lim (HC '22) is a Junior majoring in Pharmacy from Somerset, New Jersey. At Rutgers, he is a Co-Chair for the Student National Pharmaceutical Association, a member of the NJ Society of Health System Pharmacists, a pharmacy mentor, and a tutor for the SAS Honors Program. Ethan’s favorite memory of the HC is the time power went out (due to a squirrel) and a building-wide game of hide-and-seek ensued.

Hannah Lake (HC '23) is a sophomore at Rutgers University majoring in Genetics and Cognitive Science and minoring in Spanish. Hannah grew up in North Jersey in the smalltown of Mount Olive! On campus, Hannah is a goalie for the club field hockey team, she is the Vice President of Chapter Wellness of the sorority Alpha Gamma Delta, and she conducts research at the Sally Radovick genetics and endocrinology lab in RWJMS. Hannah chose the HC for the living-learning community and the opportunities and connections that come with being part of an amazing school!
