Welcome Days

Meet HC staff and student leaders at the tent on Seminary Place and grab your Welcome Box, including your Honors College t-shirt, and HC 101 booklet! Pick up your key from your Resident Assistants in the Druskin Lounge then head to your assigned room to unpack, unwind, and meet your Changemaking Mentor, roommate and floormates!

Join the Honors College deans and campus partners including Residence Life, Rutgers Police, Counseling and Psychological Services, and the Dean of Students for an event to connect with parents and family members.

Enjoy lunch with your family at one of the delicious options in the area! Feel free to stay on campus and try one of the options at The Yard, just underneath The Sojourner Truth Apartments.

Get to know your floor mates over dinner! Head to Druskin Lounge with your Changemaking Mentor and Resident Assistant at your assigned dinner times.

4:50 pm - 4 South

Meet your Resident Assistant and Changemaking Mentor and head to your floor meetings. During this mandatory meeting, you will learn about the residential student experience, programs, and policies, as well as our Changemaking Community Pillars.

All new Honors College students will attend the Welcome and Induction Ceremony! You’ll hear words of wisdom from the HC deans and students, write a note to yourself in four years, and officially embark on this new adventure.
