Summer Reading 2015

To Repair the World - Paul Farmer

For the 2015 Summer Reading Program, students in the inaugural class of the Honors College were asked to read “To Repair the World” by global humanitarian, physician, and anthropologist Dr. Paul Farmer prior to the start of their fall semester. The themes of Dr. Farmer’s book were explored in a lecture to all incoming students by Dr. Francis Barchi, an expert in global health ethics, during Fall Welcome Days and also in the Honors College Mission Course. The Rutgers community joined in the discussion later that fall by attending a free lecture and book signing by Dr. Farmer.
