Come and hear from Rutgers’ first two Delta Scholars about their experience as a part of one of the nation’s most unique fellowship programs, in which participants work in the Mississippi Delta Region, as well as at Harvard University Law and T.H. Chan School of Public Health, to provide medical, legal, political, and economic access to residents of one of the nation’s most impoverished regions.
Each year Rutgers Honors College is guaranteed one participant (a rising junior) in this pathbreaking and high-impact program.
Casey Fortson (’25, Public Health, SAS) and Andrea Rivera (’26, Cell Biology and Neuroscience, SAS) will share theirexperiences and projects, and answer questions.
