MBS Externship Exchange Program
Through the Honors College partnership with the Rutgers Master of Business and Science (MBS) degree program, students have the opportunity to participate in the MBS Externship Exchange program, working on a team of MBS and HC students for 8-10 hours per week to complete employer sponsored projects blending science with business.
FCHS Internship Program
Rutgers Cooperative Extension (RCE) helps the diverse population of New Jersey adapt to a rapidly changing society and improve their lives and communities through an educational process that uses science-based knowledge. RCE’s Department of Family and Community Health Sciences (FCHS) helps people stay healthy, enjoy life, be active, and reduce healthcare costs by combining research and practical advice to improve their health for a better tomorrow. FCHS’s internships allow students to see how everything they have learned in their courses relates to the broader world of public and community health. The goal of the internship is to further students' practical experience while enhancing the work of public and community health. Through the internship, students will have the opportunity to demonstrate an integration of coursework into a real-world setting, preparing them for professional careers and advanced degrees.
The Justice Health Summer Program
The Justice Health Summer Program is the first program of its kind in the country. Through the Honors College partnership with University Correctional Health Care and a new partnership with the IDEA Program at Rutgers, HC students have the opportunity to participate in a summer program with healthcare providers in the NJ Correctional System and implement a health education project.
Comprehensive Spine Care, PA
This is one of the most well-known medical practices in NJ treating Spine Injured Workers. Clinical and Healthcare Administration Positions can be short term annual internships (during a gap year) and/or a permanent position if one is interested in pursuing a career in Health Care Management.
