Graduate Mentor Fellow
Michael Beacher is a PhD student in the Department of Industrial & Systems Engineering with a background in Mathematics and Jazz. His research is in collaboration with the Rutgers Center for Green Building, focusing on green energy expansion and transition through machine learning methods. Michael also has a research relationship with the Johns Hopkins University Applied Physics Laboratory, focusing on the modeling of atmospheric radio noise and the optimization of quantum sensors.
Outside of grad school Michael spends his time fishing, writing, playing music, and going to basement shows.
