
H.O.P.E. Peer Mental Health Educator
Maiya is a junior majoring in History and minoring in European Studies. She is planning on applying to the Graduate School of Education’s 5-year program to get her Master’s degree in K-12 Social Studies Education. Along with being an embedded Peer Mental Health Educator on the Student Wellness Committee, she is a Faculty Fellows Mentor in Residence. In her free time, Maiya works as an after-school program counselor. She also enjoys spending time with her friends and family, going to the gym, and horseback riding.
