You are invited to join Honors College staff and fellow students at this very special Coffee with the Deans. The concept of a first-generation student was introduced into federal policy during the passage of the Higher Education Act of 1965. At Rutgers, Student Access & Educational Equity (SAEE) is dedicated to providing services that support first-generation, low-income, and historically underrepresented students. Rutgers is proud of its first-generation students’ success and the work that is being done to support first-generation students in New Brunswick.
Coffee with the Deans provides Honors College students with opportunities to interact with faculty and staff in a relaxed, comfortable setting. Hosted at the Honors College Coffee Bar, students can enjoy free coffee, hot chocolate, and tea on a daily basis while meeting University departments and connecting with their Honors College deans.
