Graduate Mentor Fellow
Dora Labate is an ABD student in the Italian Department at Rutgers. She earned a Master’s Degree in Foreign languages and Literatures from Università Degli Sudi di Bari Aldo Moro, a Master’s Degree in Italian Studies from the University of Pittsburgh, and a Certificate in Student Affairs and Higher Education Administration from UC Berkeley. She is currently pursuing a PhD in Italian Studies, focusing on the intersection of social and epistemic justice, with the goal of leveraging literature to drive social change. Her work overlaps with Feminist Theory, Gender Studies, Critical Race Theory, and Decolonial Theory.
