Rahul Upadhya is a second-year Ph.D. student in Biomedical Engineering here at Rutgers. He obtained his B.S. in Biomedical Engineering in 2017 from the University of Rochester. His research involves characterizing the structure and function of polymer-peptide therapeutics, which have pharmaceutical applications. After graduating, he plans to work in the pharmaceutical industry. He is excited to serve as a mentor this year and is open to topics that the group is passionate about. He may plan for a potential site visit to a large pharmaceutical company as conditions allow, industry guests to speak with students, and work on technical skills (writing and presentation).
