Ashley Mont is a Faculty Fellow in Residence at the Honors College. She is an Assistant Teaching Professor in the School of Engineering at Rutgers University and a member of the first-year engineering education team. She earned her B.S. Rutgers University and her Ph.D. in Biomedical Engineering from the New Jersey Institute of Technology. Her background spans biomedical research, entrepreneurship, and teaching, with a particular focus on rehabilitation technologies for individuals with motor impairments and neuromuscular disorders. She is passionate about mentoring students, supporting interdisciplinary learning, and helping students explore the connections between their academic interests and future goals. Outside of the classroom, she enjoys reading and spending time with her two dogs, Carter and Chloe, who can often be found walking with her around campus.
