
Asha (HC '22) is the President of HC Ally and a junior majoring in Biological Sciences with a minor in Spanish. On campus, she is involved in gut microbiota research in the Department of Biochemistry and Microbiology, an Honors College Ambassador, and peer tutor. She also serves as the RU4Kids liaison to Phi Mu for the Embrace Kids Foundation. In her home town of Moorestown, NJ, she is an EMT volunteer, and she has volunteered at RWJ Hospital in the Emergency Department. In her free time, Asha enjoys spending time with her dog, cooking, and painting. Asha has always been very passionate about giving back to her community and became a part of HC Ally to help first year students in the same way that the program helped her when she first came to Rutgers.
